Determining If an Access Number Is Local

An access number is the phone number your computer will dial to connect to the Internet. Access numbers work exactly the same way as any other number you dial on the telephone.  If you select a number that is not local to your calling area, your phone company may charge you for the call.

 

Only your phone company or your hotel operator can determine whether a number will be local. To avoid telephone charges, make sure you call them to verify whether a number will be local before using the service. Our support representatives cannot tell you whether a call will be local for you.
