Understanding Zones, Rates & Locations

We have local access numbers in over 45 countries and we have a toll free access number that is available throughout the United States, US Territories and Canada.

All of our access numbers have been divided into four zones: A, B, C or D, depending on their location. For example, local access numbers in the continental United States are in Zone A and European access numbers are in Zone D.

Each Zone has a rate, which determines how much time is deducted from your account when you connect to the Internet. For example, if the zone has a rate of 6 to 1, for each minute you are connected to the Internet, 6 minutes will be deducted from your account.

Why do the zones have different rates?

When you purchase a plan, you will be charged a fixed price for that particular plan. However, the cost for using the dial-up service varies depending on your location so the amount of Internet access available to you will be different depending on your location.

Restricted Zone Access

Some plans restrict access to some zones. For example, when using the Monthly plan, you are only allowed access to numbers in Zone A. Make sure you check the zone access of a plan when you make a purchase.
