Setting Up Your Connection

Bernina Artista 200E

Configuring your connection is easy and takes less than 5 minutes. You will need a local access number to connect to the Internet. If you don’t already know the number, click the Access Numbers tab to search for a number or to download a text file of local access numbers.

Entering Your Account Information

Connecting to the Portal

Erasing Note: Each time, before you type in any information, you will have to erase the lines ("____") or *** which are already there. To erase information, look for the <- arrow at the top right corner. That is the erase button.

Access Number Note: Do not enter any spaces or dashes in the Number field. Enter your access number exactly as you would dial it on a telephone. If you need to dial the area code when making local calls, enter the area code: For example, 9253244023. If you do not need to dial the area code when making local calls, do not enter the area code: For example, 3244023. See Entering Access Numbers for more information.

USB Note:  If your Artista is connected to a Laptop or PC using the USB cable, you will need to disconnect the USB cable from the Artista prior to connecting to the portal.

Connecting and Disconnecting

To connect to the Portal in the future, simply touch the blue globe icon that says Portal. Make sure to disconnect any USB cables from the Artista, if your Artista is connected to a Laptop or PC using a USB cable. To disconnect you may have to remove the modem from the Artista and disconnect the phone line.
