Setting Up and Accessing Your New Email

When you create an account with Budget Dialup, you will automatically get a new email address. If you do not log in to your email at least once every 45 days, we will assume you are not using our email and we will suspend the email address. If your email address is suspended, you can turn it back on by calling Customer Support.

There are a two different ways to access your new bdumail.com email.

Accessing Email from Our Web Site (Web Mail)

Web Mail is similar to using Hotmail or Yahoo mail. Simply log in to our web site to read and write email messages. The advantage is that setup is very easy; just log in to the web site and you're ready to go. The disadvantage is that you must be online to read and write messages.

To access your email from our web site, connect to the Internet, go to our Member Site and click Email Log In. Or, simply go to http://webmail.bdumail.com/

Downloading to an Email Application

When you use an email application, such as Outlook Express or Outlook 2002, your email is downloaded from our server to your computer. Most computer systems have one of these email applications already installed.

The advantages are that you don't have to be online while reading and writing messages and you don't have to worry about storage space because all of your emails are downloaded to your computer. In addition, these programs have enhanced email features for organizing folders, sorting emails, and changing fonts and styles.

Check your Programs menu to see which application you have installed and then click the link below for setup instructions. If you have Internet Explorer installed, you will most likely have Outlook Express installed as well.
